Oregon Fugue has a history of Callahan winners, including Jody Dozono in 1999 and Chelsea Dengler in 2003, Seven players have placed in the top 5 Callahan nominees since 2010: Julia Sherwood (2010), Bailey Zahniser (2013), Sophie Darch (2014), Bethany Kayor (2o15), Jesse Shofner (2016), Hayley Wahlroos (2017) and Ella Hansen (2018).
Since then, Fugue has been a big competitor at Nationals, placing 1st in 2010, 2013 and 2015, 2nd in 2012 and 2014, and 3rd in 2009, 2011 and 2016. Fugue has a history of fielding former USA Junior World’s team members, and have been successful at major tournaments year-round such as Stanford Invite, President’s Day, and Northwest Challenge. |
